• Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan 
• Age Limit: Between 24 to 28 years (as of 20th October 2023) 
• Qualifications: Minimum 2nd Division MBBS or equivalent from a Pakistani or Foreign Medical college/university recognized by PM&DC/PMC, along with the completion of a minimum one-year house job. Pakistan Air Force will give preference to candidates with relevant field experience after the house job.

The selection process for Pakistan Air Force PAF Officers’ jobs in the Medical Branch follows a systematic approach to ensure the recruitment of the best candidates. Here’s the step-by-step selection procedure: 

Online Registration at www.joinpaf.gov.pk: Candidates must register online through the PAF website within the specified dates. 

Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test: Shortlisted candidates will be required to take intelligence and academic tests in relevant subjects at their respective I&SC (Information & Selection Centers). 

Initial Medical Examination & Interview: Successful candidates from the academic test will undergo an initial medical examination and interview at the I&SC. 

Psychological Test of Shortlisted Candidates: Only shortlisted candidates from the initial medical examination will be subjected to a psychological test. 

Interview by First AHQ Special Selection Board: Candidates who pass the psychological test will appear for an interview conducted by the First AHQ (Air Headquarters) Special Selection Board. 

Final Medical Examination at CMB Lahore: Candidates recommended after the interview will undergo a final medical examination at the Central Medical Board (CMB) Lahore. 

Interview by Second AHQ Special Selection Board: Post the final medical examination, candidates will face an interview conducted by the Second AHQ Special Selection Board.
