Eligibility Criteria for Medical Branches of PAF:
The eligibility criteria for the three medical branches of PAF are given below:
Medical Branch (Specialists):
Candidates who wish to apply for Medical Branch (Specialists) of Pakistan Air Force must possess MBBS or equivalent degree and specialization from Pakistani Foreign, Medical College, University recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC). Applicants can check the specializations requirement through the following ad posted below. The rank of this department will lead to the Squadron Leader, who will undergo 24 weeks of training.
For Medical Branch (GDMOs):
Applicants must have an MBBS degree from a Pakistani/International university recognized by PMDC or with a minimum of one-year house job. The rank of this branch will lead to the Flight Lieutenant. Candidate must undergo 24 weeks of training.
For Medical Branch (Dental Surgeon) (SPSSC):
Male candidates with a BDS degree from a Pakistani/International university with a minimum of one-year house jobs are eligible to apply for PAF Jobs. The rank of this branch will lead to the Flight Lieutenant who will undergo 24 weeks of training.
How to Join Pakistan Air Force PAF Jobs in Medical Branch?
- Doctors can apply online through the PAF website at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.
- Registration to Join Pakistan Air Force PAF Jobs in Medical Branch starts from December 12 to December 21, 2022.
- After registration applicants must undergo the test series which is first the intelligence test, then the academic test, which consists of the different subjects.
- After the above test, a first medical examination and an interview will take place in the I&S center.
- A psychological test of shortlisted candidates will be conducted and an interview will be held at the AHQ Special Selection Board.
- The first medical examination will be held in CMH, Lahore and then the interview will be conducted by the second AHQ specialist selection committee and finally selected by the AHQ board.
