WAPDA introduction: 

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan that maintains water and electricity utilities in the state. It was established after independence through a parliamentary act in 1958 

Water and Power Development Authority owns the largest dams in Pakistan and actively monitors and manages the demands and needs of Pakistan’s commercial and domestic sectors. It also plans to complete five more multi-dimensional dams to meet the growing needs of the energy sector. 

WAPDA aims to develop neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to lower the electricity tariff and keep an eye on the consumers. Eligibility Criteria of WAPDA Jobs 2022: 

These vacancies open regularly. The eligibility criteria of these positions require Relevant Field Diploma, BE, DAE, BSc, MSc, Intermediate, BS, MS, and Master’s Degree Qualifications in the same domain with strong experience. 

Educational degrees must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan HEC and the Pakistan Engineering Council PEC. Professionals should review the ad for complete information before visiting the PTS website for applications. 

This WAPDA advertisement is available on WAPDA websites. PTS will conduct tests and interviews are conducted by the WAPDA. The first appointment will be with a probationary period of one year. 

The age limit already includes a general age relaxation. No further age easing will be granted except for the age easing of 3 years to the candidates belonging to the GB, Scheduled Castes, the Recognized Tribes of Tribal Areas, the Buddhist Community, and AJK. A relaxation of the age of 10 is allowed for disabled people who rely on the disabled quota. Age is calculated on the last application date.
