The Embassy of Pakistan is looking for a skilled translator of Pakistani nationality who can provide interpreting, transcription, and translation services to the Embassy of Pakistan, Kabul. We get this Embassy of Pakistan Jobs 2022 from the Jang newspaper. Duties & Responsibilities; 

The translator must be able to listen, read, write and speak in clear and concise grammar and pronunciation, and provide translation and interpretation services in the required language(s) i.e., Pashto, Dari, and English. The candidate must also be well acquainted with Urdu. 

Skills Requirements of Pakistan Embassy Kabul: 

  • High-level communication. skills for listening, taking notes, and retaining memory. 
  • Ability to perform accurate and consecutive translations and transcriptions. and rendition of Darn and Pashto into English and vice versa. 
  • Ability to translate various syntax and expressions to include colloquial and slang expressions from English, Darn Pashto, and vice versa. 
  • Ability to perform sequential, accurate interpretations of ongoing conversations and/or activities. Accurately scan, research and analyze the required language documents. 
  • Ability to function effectively and efficiently over extended periods in challenging environments. Must be fully familiar with the use of computers and contemporary IT tools, especially language-related software/applications. 

Education and Experience Requirements of Embassy of Pakistan Jobs: 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (16 years) in English/Pashto/Dari from a reputable university, preferably in Pakistan. 
  • A degree in Interpretation Skills / Mother Tongues (Pashto and Dari) would be given extra weight. 
  • 2+ years of interpreting experience at a well-known interpreting company or experience in the same position at an embassy or international/national organization.
