Company Description

The Federal Urdu University FAUUST enjoys the unique distinction of being the very first university in Pakistan, ultimately aiming to use Urdu as the main teaching and teaching language. The Federal Urdu University FAUUST was established on 13 November 2002 under Regulation No. CXIX of 2002 promulgated by the President of Pakistan. According to the provision of this ordinance, the university has its headquarters in Islamabad. The university started functioning in November 2002 through the acquisition of two federal government colleges, namely Federal Urdu Science College, Karachi, which were founded in 1949 by Baba-e-Urdu Dr. Abdul Haq. Whose mission was only to promote Urdu as an education and also for Urdu language as a national language. He continues to struggle until the last moment of his life.
Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology has two campuses in Karachi and one campus in Islamabad. There are more than 12,000 students on the Islamabad and Karachi campuses and 450 faculty members on the Islamabad and Karachi campuses.
This university consists of three campuses:

  • Gulshan-e-Iqbal Campus
  • Islamabad Campus
